100 Day Destash Challenge-Day 17-Unused Stamps & Stencils

I never thought I was a paper crafter that liked the cutesy little animal stamps. My kids are grown, I have no grandkids so never really need them. However, I do card drives and other people love these cute lil creatures. So I have used this adorable little freebie I won from the Colorado Craft Company. I also managed to use a stencil that has been untouched in awhile and a few sequins.

I am determined to use my sequin stash as next year I want new embellishments. I guess I am going to have to make some shaker cards be cause I have a LOT of sequins. This card was done as part ofThe Paper Players challenge. I hope you enjoy!

  1. This is a darling card, and I really admire the challenge you have given yourself to use items on hand. I am a teacher, and my crafting budget and space are both pretty tight. When we quarantined last spring, I did some crafting during the time I wasn’t teaching remotely. During the summer, many hours were spent crafting since Covid was rampant in our area. It dawned on me that I didn’t run out of anything but white cardstock, envelopes, and adhesive. I have plenty, and not purchasing new things fosters creativity. Since I have to be careful about purchases to begin with, I really love everything in my stash, too!

    1. Thank you Christine. I appreciate your comments. It is so true and while it is nice to have new things I too feel that using the things you have does sponsor creativity. God bless you for being a teacher especially during these trying times. I think we are finally seeing a bit of light at the end of this very long tunnel. Thanks for visiting my blog.

  3. Everyday is ice cream isn’t it? This adorable little mouse is certainly getting his fill; too cute! I really like the layout with the brick wall in the background. And I feel you on using up embellishments…I’m trying to use up my candy dot accents that retired ages ago! Thanks for sharing at The Paper Players!
